Fireworks Display from Jews Sally Port, Valletta
The Ports and Yachting Directorate, Transport Malta notifies that fireworks in connection with the feast of St Domenic, will be let of St Domenic, will be let off from Jew Sally Port and from St Elmo Grannaries, on Saturday 31st July and Sunday 1st July 2010. The fireworks area is from the following positons: | LATITUDE (N) | LONGITUDE (E) | | | | A | 35° 54’.189 | 14° 31’.023 | B | 35° 54’.050 | 14° 31’.132 |
The dates and times of the fireworks are as follows: Saturday, 31 July 2010 from 2200 hrs to 2330 hrs
Sunday, 1 August 2010 from 1900 hrs to 2300 hrs. Mariners are to keep a safe distance of at least 200 metres from site A and 104 meters from Site B as indicated on the attached chart. They are to maintain a wide berth and obey instructions issued by Valletta Port Control (VTS) while navigating between Marsamxett Harbour and Grand Harbour. Positions referred to WGS 84 DATUM.
