Beneteau SenSe - An all new range of sailing yacht
21 July 2010
Beneteau has been making First and Oceanis for the past 43 years. During this period the designs have continuously evolved to make them both benchmarks in today’s sailing yacht industry.

But just as Beneteau's designs evolve, so does the market.....Today, there is a much wider customer base. People taking to our sport are not only those who have been inclined to owning their own boat following some positive sailing experience/s, but also people who believe that sailing is a way of life.....Today both segments along with the conventional experienced boat owner are expecting more in terms of what characteristics and facilities their new boat will offer. They are able to compare technical specifications and performance characteristics, but most of all they are demanding a narrower gap between life at home and life on board. Beneteau has understood this evolved profile of the market for sailing yachts and over these past couple of years we have seen improvements, particularly to the interior functions, which do give the edge to their units. But this was not enough....in 2010 Beneteau have decided to respond to these changing trends with a completely new range. Beneteau SenSe is a fast cruising sailing boat predominantly designed for comfortable, extended periods of life on board. SenSe is not some sort of hybrid between First and Oceanis, and neither is it a boat built to be an alternative to another brand.....SenSe will be a sailing yacht which has been designed to be enjoyed by one and all by keeping one element central in all of the design processes and equipment choices..... maximum comfort for extended periods of life on board The first of the SenSe range will be a 50 foot version and which will be displayed at the Cannes Boat Show 2010.
