Buccaneer Boats have just launched two new models

The well known Maltese boat builders, Buccaneer Boats, have just launched two new open boat models, the Buccaneer 120 and the Buccaneer 180 Open.

Today, it is impossible to go into any bay, marina or any other place where boats are kept and not see stylish boats proudly sporting the livery and brand name of Buccaneer Boats. This well known boat designer and builder have been building and selling boats which are of top quality while at the same time at a price which is very reasonable. The company is so sure of its work that it offers a 10 year warranty on the hull.

Buccaneer Boats have a wide range of models, ranging from open boats, cabin cruisers from 18ft up to 28 feet, fishing boats up to over thirty feet. They can cater to any requirement and budget giving more boat and quality than usual for the outlay of funds.

Buccaneer Boats was founded by Mr. Charles Cassar after he built the high performance Buccaneer 272, which proved to be so successful in its various roles.

The first of the two new models just launched is the Buccaneer 120. The starting price for this boat is just €1865. This price includes a number of standard equipment which includes Rubber fender, Anchor storage with drain, Double skin cockpit, Non skip flooring, 3 mooring U bolts, Bow and stern storage and Boat side decals. Optional equipment would include Console and steering system, Console grab rail, Tinted windscreen, Bow and stern seat cushions, Boarding ladder, Front stainless steel railings.

The Buccaneer 120 is 3.65 metres long with a beam of 1.75 metres. It can take 5 passengers in comfort and can be load to a maximum of 300kg. The maximum engine horsepower is 30 while the boat's weight without the outboard is 210kg. CE certification C. It enjoys the usual Buccaneer hull warranty of 10 years.

The second new model is larger. It is the Buccaneer 180 Open and comes complete with a long list of standard equipment which includes Anchor storage with drain, Console, Driving seat with cushions, Double skin cockpit, Non skid flooring, Boarding ladder, Wind screen, 6 mooring cleats, 3 U bolts, Self draining cockpit, Front stainless steel railings, Back stainless steel railings, Non skid deck, Navigation lights, Anchor light, Console switch panel, Battery main switch, 12v socket / cigarette lighter, Bilge pump, Cockpit light, Stern light, Rubber fender, Steering system, Fuel tank and filler connectors. Fuel gauge. With such a list of standard equipment no options are needed except for and specific client requirement which Buccaneer Boats would gladly do.

The Buccaneer 180 Open is 5.5 metres long with a beam of 2.30 metres. It can carry 7 passengers in comfort and can be load up to 525kg. The maximum engine horse power is 140 while the boat's weight without engine is 525kg. CE certification C. This boat also enjoys the 10 year hull warranty from Buccaneer Boats.

During a test of the Buccaneer 180 Open, the boat was loaded with 5 persons and powered by a four stroke 90hp outboard. It planned effortlessly and reached a speed of 35mph.
